D'Agostino's Pizza and Pub

D'ags (which has a few locations in the city and suburbs) offers pizza in thin, pan and stuffed varieties, along with mediocre versions of dishes you'll find at a typical red-sauce joint. While none of the food will wow you, the draw for families is the entertainment: There's a mechanical train that travels around the top perimeter of the main dining room, and on Tuesday nights from 5:45–7:45pm, you'll find master balloon twister Smarty Pants wowing young diners (on Thursdays, he's at the Park Ridge restaurant, 742 W Higgins Rd, 847-518-8700).
