Staff question

Q: What were your pregnancy cravings?

Judy Sutton Taylor
(mom to Gabriel and Samara, both age 8)
Instead of cravings, I had a major aversion to Mexican food. I loved it before I was pregnant, but during, I couldn’t walk by a taco joint without gagging. My husband brought a burrito home once, and I made him eat it in the backyard. And guess what — the first “real food” my twins loved? Quesadillas.

Liz Plosser
(mom-to-be of twins this April!)
I could not get enough mac and cheese—the neon orange, from-the-box kind—during the first trimester. I wouldn’t even let my poor husband fancy it up. I wanted it old school, like I ate it as a kid.

Cheryl Magiera
(mom to Chloe and Lee, both age 3)
I was advised to consume a lot of protein and calcium. That meant one thing to me—cheeseburgers and milkshakes! Lots of them. Especially from McDonald’s. I don’t think I’d eaten there for at least ten years prior to my pregnancy.
