Easter Eggstravaganza 2012 at Lincoln Park Zoo | Photos

Lincoln Park’s Farm-in-the-Zoo was hoppin’ on April 7 during the first-ever “Easter Eggstravaganza” event. Hidden(ish) among hay bales and other pastoral props were tons of brightly colored eggs that might’ve been harder to find on a day that wasn’t served sunny-side-up. (Note: We’re not complaining.)

Although the festivities are over and the ’Ganza’s long-eared celebrity guest has returned to his or her day job, peruse the photos above for the morning’s most photogenic moments and to get psyched for the event’s encore (we hope) next year. In addition to ovoid reconaissance, the party also included breakfast and a bunny mask–making craft.
