"The Wonderful Wizard of Oz."

The Kohl museum's exhibit takes kids over the rainbow with Dorothy and friends as it explores Oz author L. Frank Baum's books. Take the kids to walk among 3-D versions of illustrations by W.W. Denslow, who inspired the set of the classic 1939 Wizard of Oz film starring Judy Garland. Then explore hands-on interactives, including Dorothy’s House, where kids can relive traditional farm life with try-on period costumes; a mini tornado alley where kids can create their own stormy vortex; and the Land of Munchkins, complete with munchkins, a munchkin house and DIY puppet show. Exhibits here cover just about every character.
