Honoring African-Americans in both Chicago and the nation's past, this museum is heavy on the history with interactive exhibit looks at legendary characters in America's timeline like Martin Luther King, Jr., Harold Washington and Rose Parks. Don't miss “A Slow Walk to Greatness: The Harold Washington Story,” where visitors get to a walk down Chicago’s own history lane with the legacy of the city’s first African-American mayor.
