Free museum admission for active duty families this summer

The Blue Star Museum Program is offering free museum admission to active duty U.S. military personnel and their families this summer through September 6. Free admission is for active-duty members with a military identification plus five immediate family members; active-duty reservists and active-duty members of the National Guard are included. More than 700 museums across the United States are participatinghere's the complete list of Chicagoland museums, including the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago Botanic Garden, Chicago Children's Museum, the MCA, Mitchell Museum of the American Indian, Morton Arboretum and more, that are participating.
